Please note that while this program tries to automate the process as much as possible, some manual tweaks will always be needed.
Also, when zooming in on the skin, the graphics will naturally appear softer and less sharp. Play them in a higher resolution or ask the pith author. : S.
How to use.
Install the skin of your choice on your computer, then download the skin folder to your computer via ftp or samba.
Select the input folder. Select an optional output folder. Press the desired conversion button. Note that if you choose the same input and output folder it will overwrite all the? W files, so in that case make sure you are working on the backup folder.
You can manually select the items you want to convert, but unless you are testing the functionality of the program, it is strongly recommended that you leave everything checked.
There is a test checkbox in the lower right corner that will fill all converted values to "00000". This makes it easy to see which items will actually be changed before you actually convert.
When you choose this test option, the program will display an error after conversion, as it will not find the correct skin size. This is expected behavior.
The program works by looking for vres in skin.xml to determine the skin size. If this cannot be found, you will be prompted to manually select the size of the leather you want to work with. This means that you can convert custom file folders that may not be in the same root folder. For example, Vix Common folders.
After manually selecting a size, it will ask you to enter the size again after conversion. (because it reloads the skin on completion) This second message request will be converted to size.
Finally, send the contents of the converted folder back to your box.
Also note that this program cannot resize elements that are dimensioned in Python components or skins built with plugins or scripts.
