Duck TV is launching its linear channel on Greece’s Cosmote TV.
It follows last year’s debut of the children’s TV’s SVOD platform. The content package comprising both services is available on the OTT platform while the linear services is available on DTH.
Iza Piotrowska, director of affiliate sales and business development at Mega Max Media said “We are thrilled to bring our linear channel to the platform cementing our successful collaboration with Cosmote TV. We are confident that our high-quality, specialised toddler content designed to support their early learning will enrich and add value to Cosmote TV’s kids’ offering.”
The educational programming proposition is aimed at pre-school children from 6 months to 4-years-old. It offers original animation, mini-cartoon series and real-life content produced exclusively for the channel.
Dimosthenis Vasilopoulos, director of Content and Production Operations, Cosmote TV said: “At Cosmote TV our priority is to enrich our platform with high-quality content for our viewers, regardless of their age group. We are happy to announce our partnership with ducktv, which will significantly enrich our kids’ offering and will excite our young friends”.
Popular titles on Duck TV Lola and the Numbers, Toby McFly, and the flagship show Ducky Adventures that brings the Duck TV brand hero to life. The stories are created with the support of child psychologists and teach toddlers how to handle their emotions and help in conflict resolution while developing their thinking, observational and social skills...
