The broadcast of the FC Bayern Munich games at the Club World Cup in Qatar is guaranteed. DAZN will show the tournament from the semi-finals. The streaming service announced on Monday. The German soccer record champions are set for the semi-finals as the Champions League winner and could win their sixth title within a few months. Opponents on February 8th (7:00 p.m.) are the Qatari champions al-Duhail or the African Champions League winner Al Ahly from Egypt. The final (7 p.m.) and the game for third place (4 p.m.) are scheduled for February 11th.

For a long time the broadcast of the Club World Cup in Germany was uncertain.

Several TV channels such as ARD, ZDF and RTL had declared that they did not want to show the tournament.

DAZN had already broadcast the last Club World Cup 2019 with Liverpool FC and coach Jürgen Klopp as the winner. The world football association FIFA had postponed the tournament in Qatar originally planned for December by two months due to the corona pandemic.
