The American company Discovery is expanding its channel portfolio in the Czech and Slovak markets with another high-definition program - TLC HD with Czech soundtrack has been launched on the Astra 4A distribution satellite.
TLC HD in the Balkan version is broadcast on the Astra 4A satellite at 12.360 GHz. Additional audio tracks in Czech, Bulgarian, Hungarian, Russian and English are attached to the program. Additional DVB subtitles are also available - Albanian, Bulgarian, Estonian, Croatian, Macedonian, Romanian, Slovenian and Serbian. Since launch, the Balkans HD TLC signal has been encoded using Viaccess PC 5.0 and PC 6.0 (ISP ID 051200 and 061200 respectively).
The same multiplex also has TLC Balkans in classic SD resolution. This distribution is encoded by another conditional access system, PowerVu.
