According to our profound experience that generally, in Africa, there are mainly two types of regulations for importing satellite antenna dishes of customs clearance. one is Cargo Tracking Note called ECTN(ELECTRONIC CARGO TRACKING NOTE) or BESC(BORDEREAU DE CARGAISON) in French version and the other is Product Conformity called PVOC or COC(CERTIFICATE OF CONFORMITY). If the goods arrive at the destination port without a valid certificate, the goods will not be cleared normally. And the buyer will bear the risk of high fines or even return shipment. That means you need to cooperate the agency to arrange the goods inspection and provide related documents accordingly. While like we previously indicated that African and some Asia areas are two main markets with huge potential in Satellite communication industry. This month we cooperated with SGS via remote video inspection of 1 set of 3.7m satellite antenna (VSAT) shipped to Cameroon on our workshop and we received the certificate successfully.
SGS provides our company with the Pre-shipment Evaluation of Conformity (PECAE) service for exporting to Cameroon. As a service agency authorized by the Cameroon Quality and Standards Authority (ANOR), SGS can issue a Certificate of Conformity (Attestation de Conformité, referred to as AC Certificate). This document will be delivered to the exporter to help evaluate that all controlled imported products are indeed in compliance with Cameroon approval. national, regional, international standards or technical regulations. ANOR will issue a Certificate of Compliance (CoC) based on the AC certificate and deliver it to the importer, and this certificate is a required document for customs clearance.
