BBC Sounds added to Amazon Fire TV..

BBC Sounds is now available over Amazon Fire TV devices, including sticks and smart TVs.

The TV version of the app is already available across a range of devices including Now TV, Roku, Freesat, LG, Freeview Play, and Google TV.

Lloyd Shepherd, head of product for BBC Sounds, says anyone with those devices can search for and discover the app.

The Sounds TV app now has search functionality, and viewers can now access their personalised My Sounds section on the TV app experience as well as on the mobile and web versions of Sounds.

Around 3.5 million people a week are now listening to BBC Sounds across the app, website, connected TVs and voice-activated devices...
