Turkey is preparing to launch a new nationwide television channel, Cine1 . From January 3, 2023, the satellite signal transmission will be broadcast in SD quality in the western beam on Turksat 4A (42°E). It is worth noting that this channel will work with free FTA distribution, and therefore the channel has a chance to provide a good start for entering the Digiturk and D-Smart satellite platforms.
Cine1 is the product of new investors who have licensed the Expo Channel niche station and decided to create something completely new. This will be a general purpose channel. However, the details of the program proposal are shrouded in mystery.
