Alchimie, a French company specializing in the creation and distribution of streaming services, has just quietly launched Frantugal TV, an offer intended for the Portuguese community in France.
Officially launched last Sunday, Frantugal TV is a subscription video-on-demand (SVoD) service, offering content on Portugal and Portuguese descendants, with its own production of programs and a selection of films, documentaries and series in Portuguese.
This long-standing project, initiated by Michael Mendes and Florian Pittion-Rossillon, hopes to recruit 50,000 subscribers in the first year. The offer is not only targeting Portuguese or the Portuguese community and its descendants, but also French people interested in Portugal.
