Edge, Microsoft's web browser, is available in beta for Mac M1...

Post by sanjay kumar »

Microsoft would love macOS users to embrace its web browser, Edge. He therefore adapted it to new Apple computers, equipped with an M1 chip. Attention, it is a beta version which is proposed therefore subject to some dysfunctions.

Like Chrome or Firefox, it is now the turn of Microsoft's web browser, Edge, to be offered on MacBook Pro , MacBook Air and Mac mini based on the Apple Silicon M1 processor .

The developers posted a tweet that they are deploying a beta version of their browser, fully optimized for the new technical platform of Apple computers, right now.

Starting today, you can download your Microsoft Edge Insider channel of choice with native macOS ARM64 support! Head to our Insider website to download Canary, Dev, or Beta to see how it runs, and let us know what you think.

With this beta and native version of the web browser, you should get rid of the few bugs encountered while using it through the Rosetta 2 converter tool .

The final version of Edge for macOS running on ARM chip-based systems does not have a release date yet...
