Recently, more and more clients are asking us to share detailed foundation making steps of 3.7m VSAT antenna. Today, we will focus on two methods to show you details.
As you know, the first step of antenna installation is to select a suitable installation site, which relates to antenna performance and signal quality. And for site selection guidance, please click this link on our website. When installation site is settled down, then please prepare the foundation making.
Open the package box and take out anchor blots and accessories as below. Generally there are general anchor blots which client can purchase them locally. So, we will provide you two ways for installation.
There are totally 8 steps for making foundation of 3.7m VSAT antenna.
Step1: Dig the foundation pit with a depth of 1800mm * 1800mm and 700mm according to the drawing, as shown below.
Step 2: Use reinforced steel to build the foundation network- use Φ12 rebar to build and use Φ4mm iron wire to tighten.
Step 3：Put the constructed foundation network into the foundation pit.
Step 4：Install the foundation template as shown in the figure below.
Note: Please strictly follow the drawing when installing the foundation template, otherwise the kingpost and the declined support legs cannot be installed; please note that the preserved length of the foundation bolt is 100mm when installing the foundation template.
Step 5: Put the foundation template into the foundation reinforcement mesh (pay attention to the position direction to Satellite when inserting it).
Step 6: Pour the foundation (mix evenly with cement, mortar, stones) as shown below:
Step 7: The foundation template exposed on the foundation is smoothed with cement mortar to ensure that the bolts are on the same plane, and the upper and lower deviation is not more than 3mm, as shown in the figure below:
Step 8: the antenna kingpost and declined support legs can be installed after the foundation is completely cured (7-10 days after the foundation installation is finished).
