You can select a fixed stream quality in the settings (if you want).

If that is done, it will no longer be adaptive based on the current

existing bandwidth on your own connection between the

Stream qualities changed.

So if someone in the household has a large download parallel to the stream

starts, the stream can abort / jerk heavily and it won't

automatically shows a lower quality.

You also have to find out for yourself which quality level can be used over your own connection.

The advantage is that the stream starts, for example, immediately with the highest quality level and there are no dropouts at the beginning.

But you can also use the automatic quality selection as before.


Furthermore, the plugin has its own update routine, with which you always automatically receive all current changes.
