National team football at SRG until 2028..

SRG and UEFA have extended their contractual partnership until 2028. With the agreement, SRG has secured the broadcasting rights to all matches of the Swiss men's national team, all UEFA EURO 2024 and UEFA EURO 2028 matches, as well as other selected international matches without Swiss participation. In addition, SRG has signed a cooperation agreement with CH Media.

SRF, RTS, RSI and RTR will continue to report comprehensively and live on the Swiss men's national soccer team and the European championships. In addition, the SRG stations will show newly selected international matches without Swiss participation. The basis is a new agreement between SRG and UEFA that will run until the end of the 2027/28 season. The parties have agreed not to disclose the financial compensation and contractual details.

Swiss national team and European Championship finals live on SRG broadcasters
The new agreement regulates Swiss live and highlight rights on TV and radio as well as on online platforms. SRG has thus secured the following rights:
all UEFA EURO 2024 and UEFA EURO 2028 matches
all international matches of the Swiss national team - including EM and World Cup qualifications, UEFA Nations League and friendly matches - of the 2022/23 to 2027/28 seasons,
the UEFA Nations League Finals 2023, 2025 and 2027 as well as
30 international matches per cycle (two years each) without Swiss participation - European and World Cup qualifications, UEFA Nations League and friendly matches - until the end of the 2027/28 season.

SRG involves CH Media in selected Swiss international matches
In addition to extending the contractual partnership with UEFA, SRG has also decided to work with CH Media. With a sub-license, SRG participates in the private media company in five Swiss international matches over a period of two years. The SRG makes the preselection. While the TV channels from CH Media broadcast the sublicensed games live in German-speaking Switzerland, RTS and RSI ensure the live transmission in French-speaking Switzerland and Ticino, respectively. In addition, the CH Media channels can show ten games per two years live and exclusively in German-speaking Switzerland without Swiss participation. If Switzerland does not qualify, SRG will also sub-license the UEFA Nations League Finals to CH Media.
