Discovery And 1 & 1 Continue And Expand Channel Integration In 1 & 1 HD TV. Home & Gartden TV and Tele 5 are presented in HD format.

Free TV channels DMAX, TLC, Eurosport 1, Home & Garden TV and Tele 5 are still part of the basic package. With the add-on package 1 & 1 HD TV Plus, viewers can also enjoy HD versions of all channels. In addition, Discovery Channel and Animal Planet will remain part of the 1 & 1 TV package, while Eurosport 2 will remain part of 1 & 1 TV Sport. All Discovery Germany channels are now available on 1 & 1. To provide all customers with maximum flexibility, comprehensive restart and play functions are also part of the 1 & 1 offering.

Tele 5 is part of the Discovery family
Just last year, Discovery acquired the small television company Tele 5, which regularly diversifies free TV with exquisite retro programming. Among other things, it again shows the "worst films of all time" ("SchleFaZ") with Oliver Kalkofe or the recently frivolous, old-fashioned fun films ("Bumsbuster", "FSK Sex").
