New channel for seniors in Poland
Poland’s National Broadcasting Council (KRRiT) has awarded a DTT licence to a channel named Silver TV.
Operated by the company owned by the media entrepreneur Michal Winnicki, it will be located on the first multiplex (Mux-1), using the slot formerly occupied by ATM Rozrywka.
Silver TV will be aimed at viewers aged 50+ and offer not only entertainment, but also information and education, especially in the field of activities and healthy lifestyle.
Such programming will occupy no less than 70% of the weekly broadcasting time in the hours 6:00 am – 11:00 pm.
