RTVE 24 Horas HD on DTT..

Spanish public broadcaster RTVE launched its Canal 24 Horas HD news channel on DTT after the removal of children's channel Clan TV.
With the launch of Canal 24 Horas HD, which will share a multiplex (mux RGE1) with La 1 and La 2, all RTVE TV channels will be on HD via DTT well ahead of the original January 2023 deadline for all DTT channels to be on HD.
RTVE will likely continue to use the MPEG4 codec instead of moving to HEVC under DVB-T2 to avoid replacing STBs and TVs...
