Discovery Showcase HD and Fine Living Pay TV programs will not be available in the Slovak and Czech TV markets from the new 2021. Almost all operators who had them in the proposal have already excluded programs from the proposal. If some operators still have them, viewers can only see a static screen in program positions with an inscription about the end of the broadcast. The reason is their departure from the Slovak and Czech television market. Discovery itself decided to take this step.
From Discovery, current Slovak and Czech viewers can continue to watch documentaries from Discovery, Animal Planet, Discovery Science, DTX, TLC, Discovery ID, Food Network, Travel Channel, as well as Eurosport 1 and Eurosport 2 sports.
Today satellite operators offer all the listed programs of the Slovak platform Magio Sat, DIGI TV and Antik Sat. Almost all programs are also available on Orange TV. However, this satellite operator is not included in Food Network's offering.
