Google search results may soon appear in a dark theme from your computer's web browser.
You may soon be able to use dark mode in Google search results. The Mountain View company appears to be currently testing a “dark mode” to display its search engine results on desktop web browsers.
Displaying a dark theme for Google's search engine is nothing new, however. Last May, Google integrated a dedicated flag in the Android version of Chrome to obtain a dark theme for the use of the search engine.
In addition, the use of a dark theme in Google search is already possible from the dedicated Google application, both on Android and on iOS .
So far, only a handful of users have seen their Google search results appear on a dark theme. On Reddit, a user says he got this display on Chrome 87 before it was no longer available for his account. Another member was able to test the dark mode on Firefox 83...
