A QHD + and 120 Hz adaptive screen
After an initial leak, the smartphone is now leaked by Roland Quandt, from the German publication WinFuture , sources deemed reliable in the field. As expected, OPPO is preparing a very high-end mobile for us.
The Find X5 Pro features a 6.7-inch curved AMOLED LTPO display with 3,216 x 1,440 pixel resolution, dynamic refresh rate up to 120 Hz and 10-bit HDR support. It is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus glass and houses an integrated fingerprint reader.
Unsurprisingly, the smartphone is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC , the new benchmark in the Android premium segment. It is of course 5G compatible and supports Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.2 and NFC.
Very fast charging for a high capacity battery
There should only be one memory configuration available in Europe: 12 GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 256 GB of UFS 3.1 storage space without the possibility of expansion by microSD card .
Autonomy is entrusted to a 5,000 mAh battery, which could be recharged at 80 W by wire. Wireless charging is also included.
For the photo, the partnership with Hasselblad is renewed and leads to a triple photo sensor, consisting of two Sony IMX766 modules with a size of 1/1.56 at 50 MP and with 10-bit color depth.
One of the modules is the traditional wide-angle which opens at f/1.7, the other is an ultra-wide-angle with f/2.2 aperture. Both benefit from optical image stabilization. The latest sensor is a 13 MP and f/2.4 telephoto lens allowing hybrid zoom up to 5x and digital zoom up to 20x.
The OPPO Find X5 Pro runs on ColorOS 12.1, OPPO's in-house overlay based on Android 12. It should be presented at the end of the month during MWC 2022 and will be released during the month of March. Roland Quandt mentions a price around 1,200 euros...
