A1 Croatia makes channel changes

The regulator HAKOM has published a statement on channel changes to be made by A1 Croatia to its basic TV package.

According to HAKOM, such changes do not necessary give users the right to terminate their subscription agreements. However, they are entitled to file a complaint.

HAKOM adds that in accordance with a notification it has received, A1 Croatia will remove some channels from its basic offer and other packages on March 29. They will be replaced by other channels and the package fee will remain unchanged.

While HAKOM concedes that A1 Croatia is within its rights to make such changes according to its terms of usage, “in accordance with the Electronic Communications Act, users can file a complaint regarding the changes, where it will be considered on a case-by-case basis whether the change represents a significant change for an individual software package distributed to the user”.
