Chennai Super Kings (CSK)'s victory over Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2020 match on Thursday gave a boost to quite a few franchises' playoffs qualification hopes. One of those franchises was Rajasthan Royals (RR) - who remain in contention for a spot in the top four.
The man responsible for the situation was none other than Ravindra Jadeja - who didn't just help his current franchise (CSK) celebrate a morale-boosting victory, but also gave a reason to smile to his former franchise (RR).
Jadeja's 11-ball 33* saw the match finishing in an enthralling manner, with the southpaw finishing off the chase of 173 runs with a six off the last ball of the match. The winning moment saw Rajasthan take to Twitter and hail Jadeja, “Once a Royal, always a Royal”.
The Superkings, earlier, had taken to Twitter to react to another one of Rajasthan's tweet by posting a GIF showing a bonding moment from a movie. RR also reacted to CSK's comment with a similar GIF showing a bonding moment between characters Chandler and Joey from famous sitcom FRIENDS.
