Nokia could return to high-end smartphones..

Post by sanjay kumar »

Since the Nokia 9 PureView in 2019, the Finnish brand is only launching entry / mid-range smartphones. According to the specialized site Nokia Power User , a Nokia X50 with Quad HD + 120 Hz screen and a penta camera module would arrive this year.

After the Nokia X10 and the Nokia X20 , the Finnish brand is preparing to launch the Nokia X50, its most ambitious smartphone since the Nokia 9 PureView of 2019.

According to the Nokia Power User site, this device would offer high-end features, but would use a mid-range processor, presumably not to cost too much. It would of course be a 5G terminal.

Five cameras and a 120 Hz screen

According to information from the specialized site, the Snapdragon 775 processor is at the helm of the Nokia X50. This chip has not yet been formalized but would be, according to some rumors, the first mid-range SoC engraved in 5 nanometers - which would be quite logical after the announcement of the SoC 780G last March .

Qualcomm would present it as a mid-to-high-end hybrid processor, which would fit well with the Nokia X50.

The Nokia X50 would sport a large 6.5-inch Quad HD + definition screen with a refresh rate of 120 Hz. To ensure that the autonomy holds up, Nokia would use a 6000 mAh battery with this device.

On the back, we would find five cameras in a camera module stamped Zeiss. A 108 Mpix sensor would make its appearance.

The Nokia X50 would not arrive until the second half of 2021. Considering its specifications, it could be the first really interesting Nokia in two years. We can't wait to test it...
