What is an HDMI cable?
This port can transmit images with a resolution of more than 1080pixels and a speed of 60 frames per second and transmits audio in eight channels with a frequency of 192 kHz. The HDMI port has been used in recent years in digital devices such as home theaters, HDTVs, digital camcorders, and more. This port is also available as a smaller USB port or mini HDMI, which is often used in small portable products and devices. HDMI transmits eight audio channels up to 192kHz and supports all current audio formats such as Dolby Digital and DTS. High speed data transfer is not the only useful feature of HDMI.

HDMI type A (19 pin), supports conventional game consoles, PCs and TVs;
HDMI type B (29 pin), a connector that is not common in domestic applications;
HDMI type C, supports mobile devices such as tablets and notebooks;
HDMI type D, works with portable devices such as smartphones and cameras.
